Daniël van Ree

Age 33, Daniël van Ree is one of Holland’s most talented watchmakers. He worked for several leading Dutch and Swiss brands, till he took the plunge and started his own business two years ago.
Van Ree Watches made his dream come true: the creation of his own watchbrand in collaboration with a team of talented designers.

Through sharing an office space Daniël came into contact with Dr. Henk Viëtor, DNA-expert and pioneer in medical technology. Together they investigated the possibilities of bringing their areas of expertise together in the Van Ree Personal DNA watch. During their search for uniqueness Viëtor quickly focused on nature itself and specifically on DNA codes which are absolutely unique to each individual. With as result the first DNA watch In the future other elements of biotechnology will be chosen.
